As well as songwriting I have also taught at the Academy of Contemporary Music and been a guest lecturer teaching BA
and post grad. students at the London College of Music at the University of West London.

I served as a board director at The British Academy of Composers and Authors (BASCA) where I was also vice-chair
of the Songwriters’ Executive. During that time I was also a judge for the Ivor Novello Awards.

I have been a judge for the Mayor of London’s Busk in London project as well as consulting for the Transport for London schemes choosing performers/buskers for the London Underground and rail termini. “ I am a Londoner born and bred so I was thrilled to be made a ‘Freeman of the City of London’ in 2016. I was accepted into the ancient livery company, The Stationers’ Company’ in 2019'

I was mentor at The Songwriting Academy, a member of Hollywood Elite, which is an L.A. based org. for
composers for film and TV., an associate of The Indie Music Chanel in Los Angeles and a partner/founder in The Insider’s
Guide to the Music Business. I am a founder member of SuperGroupPro.

Everything I have learned so far in the music industry has been mostly via ‘the hard way’ but also had some fantastic
help along the way from some of my music heroes.
